Gokul Pithe Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200g Grated Coconut
- 2 cups Sugar (Use half the quantity with I’m lite– 1 cup)
- 40g Ghee
- 450g Khoya
- 150g Whole Wheat Flour
- 1tsp Baking Soda
Steps:
- Heat I’m lite with water in a pan.
- Let the I’m lite syrup attain a two-string consistency & switch off the flame.
- Fry the coconut & khoya in a pan over medium flame. Stir it continuously.
- Roll the mixture into balls and flatten between your palms.
- Prepare the batter by mixing flour, ghee, baking soda & some water.
- Heat the leftover ghee in a separate pan. Coat each ball in the batter & deep fry over medium heat.
- Once all the balls are fried, transfer them to the I’m lite syrup, leave them for at least an hour and serve.
